Landscape Concepts Management earns the 2013 Landscape Contractor Award as part of the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association’s Magnificent Mile Awards program. LCM was recognized by GNMAA for our work on Michigan Avenue. The following sites received awards for their landscaping: 900 North Michigan Avenue received the Chairman’s Award, 730 North Michigan Avenue received the Honor Award, The Ritz Carleton Residence received the Merit Award.

The Grand Honor Award is the highest level of recognition to those companies and projects that exemplify outstanding values. These projects showcase the best work of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association.
The Merit Award is an award to those companies and projects that exemplify good values and that are deserving of Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association recognition.
Landscape Concepts Management has been granted top honors in the ILCA Excellence in Landscaping Awards Program with a Gold Award for Westfield North Bridge, and a Silver Award for Amhurst Business Park. Westfield North Bridge also received a Grand Award and Amhurst Business Park a Merit Award from PLANET, the national organization of professional landscapers.
The mission of the these Awards is to increase public awareness of the industry in environmental improvement, to recognize individual firms for the quality of their work and to encourage greater public awareness of environmental beautification.
Landscape Concepts Management is proud to announce it has been awarded the Grand Award for its Prairie Shores Apartments, Chicago, Illinois, and the Merit Award for the Spring Lake Business Park, Itasca, Illinois, in the 37th Annual Environmental Improvement Awards Program sponsored by the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET).
PLANET’s Environmental Improvement Awards Program reflects the association’s commitment to creating and preserving the beauty of our landscape. The program is designed to reward independent landscape, lawn care, and interior plantscaping professionals who execute superior projects. PLANET strives to increase public awareness of environmental improvement through contracted landscaping, lawn care, and interior plantscaping and encourages the consistent use of quality materials and workmanship.
Of the 201 projects entered in the awards program, 142 were recognized with an award. The awards breakdown includes one Decade Award, 36 Grand Awards, 63 Merit Awards, and 42 Distinction Awards. Special thanks to the judges Will Spiegelberg, CLP, Spiegelberg Landscape Design, Inc.; Bill Horn, CLP, CLT, American Civil Constructors, Inc.; and Gerry Rupert, ASLA, Gerald L. Rupert & Associates, as well as Awards Committee Chair, Maurice Dowell, CLP, Dowco Enterprises and Awards Committee Cochair, Bruce Allentuck, Allentuck Landscaping Company.
