Free Initial Consultation
The design begins with an on-site client consultation.  During this meeting, any challenging issues that could impact the design are identified.  We determine the level of design needed (such as concepts, renderings, sketches, 3D drawings, and plans.)

Concept Design
We first conduct a site visit and analyze the existing site and landscape conditions.  Next, we review and analyze the local zoning and building ordinances.  Afterwards, our landscape architects produce concepts to ensure a site appropriate design for both functionality and aesthetics.

Design Development
Once a concept has been selected, we incorporate any changes to the concept and develop a more refined plan.  This will show all the design elements, including hardscape materials and plant specification, sufficiently detailed for pricing and installation.

Construction Documentation and Permits
For large scale projects with custom hardscapes or a subcontractor’s involvement, we prepare detailed construction documents indicating the dimensions and quality of materials, site-specific sections and details.

Permit Services
Many municipalities have unique building and zoning requirements and a building permit is required before construction starts.  The permit submission typically requires filing fees, Plat of Survey, site plan with proposed development, construction details, and impermeable surface calculations.

We prepare the landscape permit plans and other documents required by local city ordinances.  To insure a successful outcome, we often intervene on behalf of our clients, communicate with the local Department of Community Development, and revise the landscape plans pursuant to comments of the local department as approved by the client.

Installation
We differentiate ourselves by providing all of these services “in house.”  From the initial design, through the construction process, LCM coordinates all phases of the project.  By eliminating the need to deal with multiple companies we can control quality, a pre-determined budget and stay on schedule.  We provide a “one point of contact” approach, assigning a professional to you who is responsible for coordinating and managing your project from start to finish.
