An unforgettable holiday tradition, Holidays at the Hancock Center transforms this iconic landmark into a dazzling winter wonderland—earning ILCA’s 2023 Silver Award for excellence in seasonal displays.

At the heart of this festive installation stands a 45-foot Concolor fir, meticulously placed in the building’s sunken courtyard using a crane. The tree is carefully secured with logs and reinforced with cables to withstand Chicago’s infamous winter winds. Surrounding it, ten 12-foot Fraser firs add to the spectacle, creating a breathtaking seasonal centerpiece.

Our team expertly trims and prepares each tree before adorning them with over 84,000 LED lights—60,000 on the towering centerpiece and 2,400 on each smaller tree. These glowing displays are maintained during the early morning hours to ensure they shine brilliantly throughout the holiday season.
